B Stories
B Story #1
In a bustling barn near a bright bay, Benny the buffalo and Bella the bumblebee were busy planning their big trip to Boston. Benny had a bag full of beautiful belongings he wanted to sell to a banker. Bella buzzed excitedly, her little wings sparkling in the sun. “We can barter with the banker and become rich!” she exclaimed, bouncing around Benny’s big, furry back. They both believed this could be the best adventure ever!
As they bounced down the bumpy road, Benny and Bella shared their dreams about what they would buy. “Maybe we can buy a brand-new bike or bake delicious biscuits!” Benny said, his eyes bright with hope. Bella agreed, thinking about how fun it would be to enjoy a beach picnic with their new things. They also knew they had to be careful not to run into any badger bandits along the way, who might try to steal their belongings!
Finally, they arrived at the big, brick bank in Boston. The banker, a friendly man named Bob, was busy behind his desk. “Welcome, Benny and Bella! What do you have for me today?” he asked with a big smile. Benny opened his bag to reveal the beautiful items, and Bella buzzed around to show off their unique charm. “We hope to make a good deal!” Benny said confidently. With a bit of bargaining and banter, they soon sealed the deal, and Benny and Bella left with big grins, excited for their next adventure!
B Story #2
Bobby and Abby were the best lumberjacks in the bustling town of Birchwood. One bright morning, they decided to venture deep into the beautiful forest, where they hoped to find a new place to work. As they chopped through the thick timber, Abby blurted out, “Bobby, I heard there’s a cabin nearby filled with treasures!” Bobby’s eyes widened with excitement, “Maybe it’s full of cheeseburgers!” The two friends quickly gathered their tools and bounded toward the cabin.
When they arrived, the cabin stood above a babbling brook, surrounded by bamboo and blooming flowers. They creaked open the door, and to their surprise, the cabin was bursting with cheeseburgers stacked high! “This is unbelievable!” Bobby exclaimed, his mouth watering. The scent of the grilled burgers made their stomachs rumble. They grabbed a burger and began to munch happily, only to hear a loud “BANG!” from behind. They turned to find a bobcat peeking in through the window, clearly interested in the feast.
Not wanting to be bothered, Bobby waved his hands and shouted, “Goodbye, bobcat! These burgers are for us!” Abby laughed, “Let’s take some home for our neighbors too!” They quickly filled a big bag with cheeseburgers, leaving a few for the curious critters outside. As they headed back to Birchwood, they couldn’t stop talking about their bizarre discovery. “This will be a story to share!” Bobby said, beaming with joy. And so, the lumberjacks not only brought home burgers but also a tale that would abound with laughter and friendship for years to come.
B Story 3
Bob the crab was known throughout the beach for his boundless love of club subs. Every morning, he would scuttle down to the bustling boardwalk, where he hoped to find the biggest, best sandwich. “If I could just get my claws on a club sub today, it would be the best!” he would blabber to his buddy, Bub. Bob dreamed of biting into layers of bacon, lettuce, and tomato, all stacked high on fresh, baked bread.
One sunny afternoon, Bob noticed a big commotion at the beachside pub. A mob of beachgoers had built a giant sandcastle, complete with a moat and a club of kids gathered around. “Let’s check it out!” Bub suggested, bouncing with excitement. When they arrived, they discovered the kids were hosting a club sub contest. “You can win a basket full of subs if you help us build!” a girl named Deb explained, beaming with joy. Bob’s eyes sparkled; this was his chance to shine!
Bob and Bub worked together, using all their skills to build a fantastic sandcastle that towered above them. They scooped up sand, shaped it into sturdy walls, and even added a cobweb of seaweed for decoration. As the last castle wall was finished, the kids cheered, and Bob couldn’t believe his luck. They won the contest and were gifted a huge platter of delicious club subs! Bob savored every bite, knowing that the best moments are made with buddies, bountiful food, and a bit of beach fun.
